Winter Mock Trial: Criminal Docket
Step into the courtroom and compete in our Criminal Mock Trial Competition on March 8-9, where REAL la will serve as your judging panel!
📍 Day 1 Location: 252 Bloor St W ( Ontario Institute for Studies in Education)
📍 Day 2 Location: 40 St George St (Bahen Centre for Information Technology)
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM on both days
You will compete in teams and progress from the preliminary rounds to the championship round.
Assemble a team of four, five, or six and argue your case before experienced lawyers and judges! Gain feedback from those who know the law best. Day 1 features elimination rounds, leading to the high-stakes final rounds on Day 2. A special guest, who has appeared at multiple levels of the Canadian court system, will also be in attendance to share their insights in the last round. Spots are limited—secure your team’s place now for just $50 per competitor, or a group rate if you are all ready to go.

Ontario Mock Trial Summer Trial, an exciting event where young legal enthusiasts from across Ontario convene to showcase their advocacy skills. This competition provides participants with a platform to engage in simulated courtroom proceedings under the guidance of experienced judges.

Ontario Mock Trial Tournament
The Ontario Mock Trial Association proudly hosts its mock trial event on March 23 at the Ontario Bar Association, our primary sponsor and venue. This dynamic competition invites law students and aspiring legal professionals to demonstrate their legal acumen and advocacy skills. The winning team will be awarded valuable prizes, including LSAT prep packages and $600, to support their legal education journey. This event is a prime opportunity to engage with the legal community and hone critical legal skills.
